We develop novel microfluidic and nanofluidic systems for applied and fundamental studies that integrate engineering, chemistry, biology, and physics to improve human and environmental health.

    The systems we develop are applied to mass spectrometry-based proteomics, analysis of single bacterial and mammalian cells, microfluidic cell culture, portable diagnostics, and water purification.
